How approvals work
Ads Arsenal reads your accounts and writes insights: what it found, the evidence, and, when there is one,
the change it suggests. Nothing changes in your ad accounts until someone on your team approves it.
- Approve queues the suggested change. It is applied within minutes of your approval, after the checks below.
- Dismiss asks why (not relevant, numbers look wrong, too risky, already handled, or something else). Your reason shapes what Ads Arsenal suggests next.
- Acknowledge is for findings that propose no change. It clears the card from your board.
Checks before anything is applied
Every approved change is checked again just before it is applied, and refused if any check fails:
- the Property is not paused, and the change does not break the limits you set (for example the largest daily budget change, or a creative lock);
- it never pauses the last ad still running in an ad set or ad group;
- the numbers behind it are still fresh: an approval lapses about a day after you give it, and sooner for changes that move money, such as budget, bid and audience test changes.
What Ads Arsenal never does without you
- It never changes a campaign, budget, ad or keyword without an approval.
- It never changes a target or limit you set. Suggested targets wait for you.
- It never edits your website. Suggested page changes are text for you to use.
Undoing a change
When a change records what it replaced, the Actions page offers Roll back beside it. A roll back is a change
too: it waits for your approval and goes through the same checks.
