Targets and "not judged"
Ads Arsenal judges each campaign against what good looks like for you. You tell it that in the Property's
Settings: what counts as a result, and a target cost per result or a target ROAS (revenue divided by ad
spend; ROAS always uses purchases).
What the labels mean
- Healthy: the campaign is within reach of its target.
- Underperforming: it costs clearly more per result than the target, or returns clearly less than the ROAS target.
- New: it started recently or has had only a few results, so it gets room before it is judged.
- Not judged: there is nothing fair to judge it against yet.
Why a campaign shows as not judged
- No target and no benchmark. Without your own target, campaigns are judged against industry benchmarks once those are researched for your industry. Until then, or where no benchmark applies, the campaign is not judged. Benchmarks cover purchases and leads, in US dollars.
- Too little spend. A campaign that has spent very little recently is not judged, because a few dollars say nothing yet.
- No results yet. Once a campaign is past its first days, spend with no results is not judged until it has spent well past the cost per result it is judged against. After that it shows as underperforming.
Not judged is cautious on purpose: Ads Arsenal does not suggest cuts or tests for a campaign it cannot judge.
Setting a target is the quickest way to get every campaign judged.
Setting a target
Open the Property, then Settings. Pick what counts as a result first; a cost per result target needs it. You
can skip targets and add them any time. Once a Property has enough data, Ads Arsenal can suggest a target
for you to accept or ignore. It never changes a target or limit you set.
